It may sound like a small insignificant detail, but a beautiful cover and a pretty spine on a book can add so much visual interest to your coffee table, console table and/or bookshelves. It’s also the perfect way of adding a little personality! You can use books on fashion, photography, art, interiors, and any other interests you might have. I mean there’s a book dedicated to aerial views of stunning beaches around the world so I’m sure you can find something you’d be interested in!
And while the fashion and the interiors world definitely know how to make some of the sexiest coffee table books, I think it’s important that you display books that represent an array of different interests, especially the things you love. I love cooking too, so why shouldn’t there be a great cookbook displayed in my home? And yes. I totally style books in my kitchen too.
I always use my sister’s book “Magic Within” to style my spaces. While her book is obviously not a coffee table book, it means so much to me to have it displayed in my home and this is definitely the best way to do it!
I also don’t usually follow a set of rules on how to stack. I personally like using odd numbers, but sometimes it totally works with one, two or six books if the size is right. It’s really an intuitive process so test them out in one place and then move them around when you get bored!

So today, I thought I’d show you 25 gorgeous books that you can easily order from Amazon or other websites! I can’t promise that the content inside will be any good, but if you were looking for beautiful and interesting covers, these are definitely worth checking out.
The books are grouped into size categories so that you have a general idea on how to stack them, but you’ll definitely need to check the sizes of these when you place your order since some of them are wider or longer than some of the others in their own category or in other categories. To make life easier, I’ve included the measurements here as well.
I just hope this list will help inspire you to find some coffee table books that will work well for your home and for your personality!

So the only books I have to give you a slight warning about (but the pictures are so beautiful that I can’t resist having them on my list) is Beautiful Saudi Arabia and Art is a Gift….. This may sound silly to some of you, but the title on the spine of these books have been printed so that when the cover is up, the title is upside down. It bugs me… But rather than not getting them, I suggest placing them individually in a way so that the spine is not visible!
Hope you can get your hands on some of these! Show me how you style them too!!
FYI – For those of you who live in Saudi, make sure to order books that won’t be confiscated by customs. Just bring them back with you the next time you travel if you really want! And yeah. Whiskey in a Teacup would be one of them……..
