I really wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to get a fall tablescape done for you this year, but luckily I was able to squeeze in some time to create a table setting with my new obsession – warm tones! I reused a lot of my old serveware and bought some new things from Saudi for this. The only thing I didn’t purchase here were the leafy branches in the middle, which I picked up from The White Company in London, last time I was there.
Thanks to a tip from a friend, I found a big beautiful red velvet pumpkin that became the inspiration behind this whole thing!
To create the wooden bowl of pumpkins on the table, I cut up a bunch of faux greenery that I wasn’t planning on using from IKEA and Pottery Barn and placed them around some pumpkins. I had a mustard fabric pumpkin from last year, and I bought a few real mini pumpkins earlier in the season, that I preserved, so that they could last a couple of months. I used faux greenery in little vases on each side of the table as well to add some more color to the mix. Faux greenery can be such a great alternative when buying the real thing is far too expensive or just not available!
In all decorating-related ventures, I always start with a neutral palette, so I started off with white linens, white plates, and a simple rattan charger. I wrapped my rust and orange colored napkins with Rosemary stems from my garden and a little decorative accent that I bought from Zamil.
Now I leave you with the rest of the pictures of the table – sources will be listed below. Enjoy!
I hope you like what the table that I’ve created and feel inspired by it! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of yummy treats!
