Fall Tablescape

I know I’m a little late on this post, but hopefully it can help with some last minute inspiration before your Thanksgiving festivities, especially if you haven’t really thought of anything yet!

So this year, I was really drawn to the pink, peach, orange and cream tablescapes that I saw all over Pinterest and on my favorite bloggers websites. And since I have pink curtains up on my pergola, I thought that it would be the perfect theme for an outdoor fall tablescape.

Initially, these faux Dahlia’s from Pottery Barn really got me excited! I decided to build my table around them and a couple bunches of faux orange Hydrangeas. I actually love using faux florals in tablescapes because they last longer, and I can also use them for other events or parties.

I also picked up a few real mini pumpkins that I preserved (post on how to do that is here) and then spray painted with pink chalk paint. I then added a few pink and orange fabric pumpkins from my awesome friends, Erlina and Huong (tutorial on how to make them here). Basically, I picked up all of the items while on my shopping trips around town recently and in the past, so every single item photographed is from Saudi or Bahrain.

My outdoor dining table isn’t very big, so I bought a small shelf, second-hand for SR 20-25 ($5-$7), as a serving station. Since it was originally painted a “beautiful” Pepto-Bismol pink, I decided to paint a couple of coats of dark gray chalk paint on top!
