My Thursday Faves

Hey hey hey!! I’m back from my Thai adventures! It was fun, but I’m not gonna lie… I was totally ready to come home especially since driving to Khobar was about to become a reality in my life!!

While expat wives haven’t been able to sign up for a license yet, I have heard that it should be available to us in less than 2 weeks!!!!! I’m so so so excited. You can expect to see me at all hours of the day, out on those roads 🙂

My Favorite House Tour: This gorgeous beach house by Cortney Bishop Design popped up on my feed via Lark & Linen a few weeks ago, and I was totally blown away. I saw it everywhere online after that, and you’ll be able to see why as well. I mean who knew that a black and white color scheme could look so bright and comfortable? The wood accents were also executed to perfection, and definitely soften up the look of this home, but I’m just so impressed with how beautifully this black and white theme came together in a BEACH HOUSE! Genius.

My Favorite Recipe: I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but Once Upon A Chef’s blueberry muffin recipe is a favorite of mine, so I’m definitely gonna have to try this Blueberry Coffee Cake recipe…

My Favorite Décor: I am so overly obsessed with Caitlin Wilson‘s textiles, especially her pillows. She’s lived in so many different countries, including the Middle East, which is probably why I totally gravitate towards her designs! While these are not really H&M Home prices, I think it’s totally worth buying when the designs add so much character and the colors are perfect for a space. I’m also getting super frustrated with the lack of variety in Dhahran stores these days – did someone not get the memo about new seasons and new shipments once in a while?!

My Favorite Pin: Crazy me. I’m planning on revamping my yard again this fall, so I have been on Pinterest A LOT. I’ve been so inspired by the outdoor patios on there, but these two from InsideOut and dti are my favorites right now. I think I can totally make it happen in my space too!
