Valentines Day is one of those holidays that kindaaa makes me cringe… but is totally worth celebrating if I’m getting something out of it 😉 Actually, I find that it’s a really great excuse to go out for a date night or to get something for a loved one if you feel like you’ve been a tad bit neglectful.
So here are a few ideas that could make V-day just a little bit more romantic…
(*hint hint hubs*)
Buy A Long-Lasting Arrangement From La Ville Fleurs
I accidentally found La Ville Fleurs after a meal at Bateel Cafe. Not only do they ship in the most beautiful flowers, but some of their arrangements can last for up to two years! If I remember correctly, one of their staff members said that some of the bouquets start at around SR 300 and go up from there. But hey… a bunch of roses that can last me two years for SR 300 is definitely worth it!
Check Out Jewelry From Juman Pearls
I love Lina’s designs! They can be trendy, classic, but always unique. If you’re a pearl lover, you will LOVE her work. This is actually a great opportunity to force hubs to buy you that pair of earrings that you’ve been lusting over for months…
Plan A Night Out
If you live in the Dhahran/Khobar/Dammam area, here are a few restaurants that I can totally recommend in terms of interiors, ambiance and food – Lusin (the best beef humus ever!), Pattis France (Corniche location) & Maharaja by Vineet (in the Mövenpick Hotel).
And then there are a couple of restaurants that I totally want to try out, and have been hearing a lot about – Gusto Restaurant (located in a strip before the plaza with Cafe Bateel) & Pastel (for a coffee and dessert date – locations in Dammam & Doha).
Plan A Night In
And then there are those of us that just like to take a break on Valentines Day, stay in, and order some grub. If you’re planning on doing that (without the kids…), you can create a super romantic atmosphere at home with a few of these beauties…

Hope you have a super romantic night 😉
